I was going to suggest this for a DD...but you didn't say where you got your source images from, therefore it's ineligible :(

So if you could list your sources, I can suggest it :)

I love this concept. I especially like the detail of the egg itself, with the clear eggshell bits peeking through where the world split. I would imagine the earth-egg to have more cracks, but this singular schism is perhaps more dramatic for its purposes. I really like that the yolk is on fire, and yellow happens to be both the color of yolk and of the magma truly underneath the crust. I'm not sure what the white part is, unless that's the core of the earth or a light reflection. I also am guessing the the blue on the yolk is smeared off from the planet, but I really have no clue about the green--that confuses me and takes away from the picture a bit, unless it's supposed to be rot. I don't see any large area that shade of green on the shell itself, so it can't have rubbed off along with the blue.

How did you do this? Did you superimpose a map over a picture of a cracked egg? I really wouldn't know where to start with this, or how to get the flames in there, and the 3D feeling.

Overall great job and I agree with the message.
